Market profile
With the Chinese government’s support of the optoelectronic industry and recent economic boom, the optoelectronics industry in China is bound to grow rapidly and its market became the biggest hotspot in the optoelectronics industry. The State Semiconductor Illumination Project which launched by the National Development Reform Commission provides a potential market for usage of LEDs related products in public and industry. China is not only an important buyer of modern optoelectronics technology, but also one of the biggest manufacturers of optoelectronics products.
According to the statistics of COEMA , China’s sales of optoelectronic products, including: telecom equipment; laser processing systems; LEDs & OLEDs; LCDs; component sales and holography for security and anti-counterfeiting totaled Euro 31 billion in 2008*. That value is expected to reach Euro 37 billion in 2009, resulting in an annual average rate of growth (AAGR) of 18.3 percent. The total sales of laser products in 2008 remain the growth rate of 43% of which the processed laser products, medical laser products, laser measuring products, laser devices and auxiliary devices market remain 32% growth. It is estimated that the infrared devices and optical components and optical instruments will keep 20% growth. The LEDs and LCDs will remain 25% growth in 2009.
Expo Profile
Optoelectronic Industry Expo (Beijing) & China International Lasers, Optoelectronics and Photonics Exhibition (ILOPE)，organized by COEMA and CIEC and supported by CCPIT and the Ministry of Information Industry, was launched in 1991 with the mission of serving as the bridge between the home and abroad leading companies, suppliers and buyers and experts and technicians to enhance the communication on the business affairs or exchange their views and to provide a platform for overseas companies to understand and step into Chinese opto-electronics market. With more than ten years development, ILOPE had attracted more than 230 thousand professional visitors, businessmen and decision makers from 39 countries, about 510 reporters of publications and TV stations from 18 countries and 31 trade delegations organized by the foreign associations and commercial chambers and held more than 120 seminars by inviting about 368 experts from North America, Germany, Italy, France, Russia and Chinese Academy of sciences to make a speech during the show. The total signed contract volume at the ILOPE achieved $172 million in the past ten years. At present, this show has become the premier event in China to find the business opportunities, purchase the latest equipments and show their latest technology and equipments. About 90% of exhibitors were satisfied with the result of the show. They thought the show was far beyond their expectations and it has ranked the top in this community in China.

There were 391 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions covering 12,000 square meters show space, of which 78 exhibitors were from Canada, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, UK, USA, Taiwan, South Korea, Israel, Russia, Hong Kong respectively.
Visitor Profile
The registered visitors were 12,896, up 9.5% over the previous year, of which 12,228 were from China, 668 visitors from other parts of the world.
Highlights
ILOPE will not only once again serve as a showcase for products and a platform for the exchange of information and collaboration in the fields of Lasers, optoelectronics, optical technology and photonics in China, it will demonstrate increased international participation as well. The number of exhibitors from outside China will remain growth, and a third of all exhibitors come from outside of China. As compared with the previous ILOPE, exhibition floor space has grown by 15% to date.
International match-making event
The match-making event,organized by COEMA in cooperation with spectaris,held during ILOPE also offers international and home companies to find new contacts and partners according to their specific requirements.The Asia Invest Project has been mandated by EU to support EU SMEs in finding new know-how and suitable business partners abroad.

Please fill in the booth Application Forms, and fax or email to the organizer, the organizer will confirm your booth and refax the application form to the applicator with official seal. Exhibitors are asked to arrange to pay 50 % of total booth fees as the deposit to organizer within 10 working days after receiving the sealed reservation contract. The remaining booth fees are asked to remit to the organizers before Sep.15th. Application without full payment will be treated as invalid.
